29-year old center Daniel Prinsloo (211-C-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tigers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3 (Qualifying Round).
He had a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds, while his team edged out Fer.Beira (#22, 2-1) 86-85. Each game in Qualifying Round is important. but the teams lost the distance to top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Tigers moved-up to the 21th position in Basketball Africa League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Tigers already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Prinsloo had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Prinsloo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 11.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 2.7bpg and 56.3% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Jermel Kennedy (201-F-89) of Fer.Beira. He is British-Canadian forward in his first season at Fer.Beira. In the last game Kennedy recorded impressive 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Fer.Beira was edged by Tigers (3-0) 86-85. The Qualifying Round is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Kennedy is a newcomer at Fer.Beira and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 5.7rpg and 4.3apg.
Third place about best performers goes to Miles Ndalama) of Matero M. (#23). Ndalama scored 16 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Matero M., leading his team to a 95-43 easy win against Warriors (#24, 0-3). The chances of Matero M. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ndalama could try to bring Matero M.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Ndalama has individually a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (#1 in league).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
